Getting started with Product Bundles

Updated 30 October 2026

C4D WooCommerce Product Bundles adds a bundle offer to a product page: a short list of related products a customer can tick, pick options for and add to the cart together, at a discount. A camera with a memory card and a bag, a shampoo with its conditioner, a course with its workbook.

This page builds one complete bundle. Discounts and bundle pricing and Display settings go further.

Before you start

You need WordPress 6.0 or newer, PHP 7.4 or newer and WooCommerce 7.0 or newer. Version 1.2.0 is tested up to WordPress 7.1, WooCommerce 11.2 and PHP 8.4, and works with WooCommerce’s order tables (HPOS).

If you’re on a version older than 1.2.0, update now. Version 1.2.0 fixed a security problem where a changed add-to-cart request could lower the bundle price.

1. Install and activate

  1. Go to Plugins › Add New Plugin.
  2. Search for “C4D WooCommerce Product Bundles”.
  3. Click Install Now, then Activate.

2. Choose the product that carries the bundle

A bundle lives on one product, the main product. Customers see the offer on that product’s page. Choose the product people are most likely to land on, usually your best seller, and bundle the things that go with it.

  1. Go to Products › All Products and open the main product.
  2. Scroll to the Product data box and click the Product Bundle tab.

3. Add the products

  1. In Search Products, start typing a product name and pick it from the list. Repeat for each product.
  2. Drag the products to put them in the order you want customers to see them.
  3. Each product now has its own panel. Open one to set:
    • Qty: how many of this item the bundle includes
    • Init Check: whether the item starts ticked
    • Must Included: whether the customer can untick it
    • Set Default Variable: for variable products, the size or colour selected to start with

The free version shows up to three products in a bundle. Products after the third are marked “Premium only” in the editor and aren’t shown to customers.

4. Set the discount

In Discount, enter a number, and in Discount Type choose Percent or Price:

  • 10 with Percent takes 10% off the bundle
  • 10 with Price takes 10 off in your store currency

You can also enter several numbers, such as 5, 10, 15, so the discount grows as customers tick more items. Discounts and bundle pricing explains how that works.

5. Add a title and description

The Title is the heading above the bundle on the product page, such as “Buy this bundle and get 15% off”. The Description is a line below it. Tell customers what they save, not that it’s a bundle: “Save 15% when you buy all three” works better than “Product bundle”.

6. Save and check

Click Update. Open the product on your site and check that:

  • the bundle appears with the items, their photos and prices
  • unticking an item updates the total
  • Add Bundle To Cart adds every ticked item to the cart, with the discount applied

The cart, checkout, order emails and the order screen in your dashboard all show which items were bought as a bundle.
